SCHOOL PROFILE

St. Hubert Elementary School

A Community of Caring School

Artopia was proud to visit St Hubert to teach a Glass Fusing Project. Thanks Mrs. DeGusti for your kind comments

I was in "AWE" when I saw the finished necklaces! You really surprised my class and me; with the presentations of the necklaces. The way they were professionally packaged! "UNBELIEVABLE," you included a necklace for every one of my students. Their faces beamed at the sight of their artwork. So different from the piece of glass they started with. They had so much enjoyment working with you!

We displayed the necklaces in our Art show during parent teacher interviews and received many positive feedback.

Everything that you did for us was so very kind, considerate and generous of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We could not have asked for a better instructor!!

I'm sure I will see you back at our school in the near future!!

Thank you again,

Franca DeGusti

Glass Bead Making

with

Glass Artist Instructor Charissa Hong

Glass Bead Making, also known as Lampworking
is a type of glasswork that uses a gas-fuelled torch to melt rods of clear and coloured glass.
Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by shaping with tools and hand movements.
A large selection of Jewelry findings will also be available for purchase, which
will allow you to complete your project and impress your friends.
This includes Pandora and Persona.
